My name is Michael Butler, I'm from Independence (KC), Missouri. A little bit about me; I am 21 years old and currently attending community college and I will be transferring to the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg in the fall to study Physical Education and Exercise Science. I've been lifting for almost two years now. I compete in the 220 class, classic and raw

I'll be kicking this thing off with tonight's training...

Hi, Michael.

I look forward to reading your log.

What's your training style/philosophy?
Words convince the Mind; emotions sway the Heart—but only The Spirit transforms the Soul.

Not much of a training, but I figured I would include it since it has substantial importance.

I'm seriously thinking about doing the meet in Springfield, Missouri on March 23rd.

2-7-13

warm up- dynamic stretching (Stretch, no more than 3 seconds, take two-four steps, repeat 4-6 reps)- jog 10 yards, toe touches, lunges, side lunges, b.w. good morning, knee hugs, high kicks, high knee, 10 yards, karaoke 10 yards. Future reference, I won't list this again.

Deadlift- 135x5, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x3, 315x5, 365x3, 390x3, 425x3, 455x1, 475x1
Close to a training PR. There's many excuses I could make, but I'll save the sob story by saying I'm crushing it next time.

Good Mornings- Barx10, 95x10, 135x10, 135x10, 155x10

Hanging Leg Raises- 3x10 B.W., pausing at top
Band-ab pulldown- 2x30

Nice and short.
