BENCH BIG OR BUST SESSION 1: 705x2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPJ0Qhs7 ... e=youtu.be

Extremely ampd and excited about the progress that is being made in this training cycle up to the competition. My strength gains and technique has improved drastically with the help of Mike Tronske. With these videos i am tuly giving you an inside look at my first FULL true training cycle up to a meet. We created a plan and we have stuck to it. The overall goal is to crush the Olympia stage in September, with the Santa Barbara meet this April destroyed in its wake. With this session I choose to leave my legs up doing warm ups because without the full leg drive support i was able to gain confidence with my ability without the aide of my legs. Some people have different opinions of that, but i am just doing what works for me because when i plant my feet on the ground i know what kind of explosive power is added to it factoring in my legs and adding alot more weight on the bar. The session mission weight cap was set to 705 and it looks like we are coming in ahead of schedule. We didn’t add more weight on, but are planing to add more to the projected lifts the next couple weeks in preparation for this qualifier. Big thank you to my sponsor Iron Rebel Power Gear with the sick zipper hoodie you see in the beginning of the video as well as my Inzer Rage X Single Ply Bench Shirt provided by Dension Powerlifting. I have gone outside of my Inzer to test other shirts and have always just ended up coming right back to the Rage X and hitting PRs. I know the groove and now going into the training cycle locked on using the Rage X, the sky is the limit.. and 800 is becoming clearer.. One step closer… GAMETIME!!

BENCH BIG OR BUST SESSION 2:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BkPZ4nU ... e=youtu.be

We are about 5 weeks out from the USPA Santa Barbara Open Powerlifting Championships which i am using as a 2013 Mr. Olympia qualifier. To be invited, i would need around a 2100lb total. With my other lifts on the rise, benchpress always will be my fun lift. This cycle, i fully committed to my bread and butter shirt which is the Inzer Rage-X. I tried other shirts, but always ended up coming back to that shirt and hitting PR’s. Talked to steve, talked to Mike, and they both agreed to stick with the shirt the whole cycle and now things have been getting powerful ever since. This week we are actually ahead of schedule with making today’s training session weight cap at 725lbs. We needed to take it down to a 2 pad which is the equivalent to a 1 board, but when the bar hits and compresses it actually becomes less than a board. We like using the pads because it prevents you from getting loose at the bottom because instead of feeling the board and relaxing a bit, you are forced to stay tight. The bar hits the pad and soaks in. With 705 being my opener for the meet i feel very confident with it. When i went up to 725 and felt that bar speed, i immediately felt hungry for more. Mike advised me to keep it for next week and the drive begins. I am excited to see where it lands next week and the weeks to follow. Hope you enjoy the video.

JUST STAND UP SESSION 2: Mid Rack Pulls 900x5
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESypUBF ... yg&index=1

Ill tell you one thing, I regained alot of my confidence on deads today. Alot of factors had played a part in me not having good pulling days for the past couple weeks, but the point was that i was still doing work. Knowing that i have only 2 sessions left with my deadlifts before we cut them until gameday really made me want to get that last bit of excitement in it before i went to war. My biggest problem with deads is the lock out. This training cycle with Coach tronske, he had me doing different pulling variations each week from deficit pulls, rack pulls low & mid, and floor pulls. Rack pulls played a big part with being able to hammer home the weight from sticking point to lockout. We used a thicker bar that we call the “NASTY” bar that has no growl on it along with no flex to the bar that increased the difficulty with the grind. Today’s session didn’t have a weight mission cap because we just wanted to go up as far as we could. Grip strength has never been an issue so just to lock on the movement i strapped up for last 2 sets of 805 and 900. We started suited with straps up around 625 so i could get that extra feel on what is going to feel like at the top end on gameday. Everything was done for a reason today and it came out with another great session and that has me even more excited for what is about to go on April 27th. Next week we will go to the floor for a next max and then i won’t touch a deadlift bar until its looking at me on the platform. I hope you enjoy the video! #BEASTVISION

BENCH BIG OR BUST 3: 805x1 (4 weeks out) video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqCg4d5j ... e=youtu.be

Today was a day of days.. that a number was put in its place as just another number.. 800lbs has been on my hit list for the longest time. To feel it in hands and for it to launch as well as it did 4 weeks out has watered my confidence to a new level when it comes to getting under that bar on gameday. I say this time and time again this whole schedule that this is the strongest that i have felt. We kept it simple through the warm ups and took it up until we felt like it was a strong set to finish on. Felt a bit of pressure on my elbow so we decided to back off and ice it up. Staying healthy is key over pride. So much more to eat on that bar and you will just have to tune in for the results. Big shoutouts to my sponsors, Iron Rebel Power Gear, Dension Powerlifting who have provided me with the Rage X that i live by now, HMB that pumps in my body keeping my strength levels up, Marine Corps, and i will always rep TEAM BEAST! We are making a movement!! Also a special thanks to Mike Tronske, Mikey Tronske, and Garrett Gumz for spotting me today. Hope you enjoy the video.
