Been awhile since I posted in my log. I have a new training program that I'm doing now.
Its called MDMP and it doesn't stand for the military decision making process.
Its the Meet Director's Maintenance Program. Its done 1-3 times per week.
It consists of doing all 3 events: squat, bench and deadlift.
I do 3 total sets. Set 1 is 10 reps, Set 2 is 8 reps and Set 3 is 6 reps.
This is done for squat, bench, and deadlift.
I basically do 135x10, 225x8, 315x6 for all 3 events and I'm done!
:D

Finally back at it again training in my garage with a few other guys. I hope to always find the time to train consistently. Right now its all about conditioning because I'm out of condition. Would like to compete in a meet sometime in 2015 somewhere outside of CA or NV. Maybe Hawaii in April 2015. If not I will head to a meet in MO, TX, FL, or GA.

So to cover some training time I last competed at the 2012 Nationals where I squatted 584, benched 440 and deadlifted 622. Then I competed in April 2016 in Merced, CA. Just wanted to do openers to qualify for Nationals but hurt my IT band. Finished meet with 523 squat, 402 bench and 523 deadlift.
Fast forward to June 4, 2017 where I competed again at the NASPower Here Comes the Boom Powerlifting meet in Bakersfield, CA where I competed in the 140kg wt class. Missed making wt at 125kg weighing in at 128.5kg. Had a great time competing. Finished meet with 551 squat, 420 bench and 551 deadlift.
Now back to some regular training and hopefully I can get to another meet this Fall. :D
