Hey Steve, I'm getting ready to get me a new bench shirt and I not sure about the rules for scooping the neck and getting a "super neck" on it. I just a little confused about the rule changes at the end of the year.

Just want to get the right shirt before I waste money on a shirt I can't use.

I don't know what brand your getting but Super necks or enhanced collars are not allowed. The only collars allowed are ones that are stock collars coming from Inzer, Metal, or Titan. Basically IPF style. You can have a one inch scoop neck though.

I want to keep single Ply, Single ply. It was starting to venture into the Multiply category too much. So if you want a super collar you can get it but only wear it in the Multiply division.

I'm getting another Inzer RAGEX. I totally understand the "keep single ply, single ply rule." Thanks for clarifing this for me Steve.

I wear a RageX and the collar they use is the same as seen on a Titan Super Katana which is legal since both are stock collars.

I've had mine for about 5 years so they probably changed the design a little bit since then. I really like the RAGEX, been the only shirt that works for me.

I've only worn RageX shirts as well since about 2004-05. I noticed the collar on the RageX changed when I got a new one earlier this year. This is a legal collar for the RageX. I did notice it moved the focus to the collar which I don't think is a good thing in my opinion. To me, it has created an imbalance in the shirt because before I could feel the shirt pressure on the overall chest area and now I feel it in the upper chest, shoulders and armpit area but if this provides new PR's then that's ok. I just need to get used to it.

Getting used to a new shirt is hard to do when you feel pretty comfortable in your old shirt. But like you said, if you get a PR out of it, then its worth it.
